JotJot is a venture of two professionals with a clear desire to rally the outstanding and the ingenious – ideas and designers. And the result of their endeavours is precisely just that – quality interior items for the contemporary design solutions.
Jurgis Garmus and Laurynas Kerpė just got back from New York where they accepted the NYCxDESIGN 2017 award (the statue looks very similar to Oscar, by the way…) for Mudu mirror. We’d like to believe it’s one of the most important acknowledgements of modern Lithuanian – and kaunastic – design ever!

Mudu, created by a team of four architects running under the name of Studio Heima (the mirrors are produced in Kaunas, too), is first and foremost a sculpture deconstructing the myth of a mirror being a flat surface. The new angle of looking at it was definitely noticed by the jury in New York.

NYCxDESIGN Awards is a global design competition celebrating outstanding achievement across major areas of design. The awards, presented by Interior Design magazine and ICFF exhibition, are part of the prestigious design week NYCxDESIGN 2017. Take your time and browse through the rest of the products represented by the JotJot brand. We really dig the Circle of Light, the charismatic suspension lamp designed by Jurgis Garmus, the co-founder of JotJot. It was also noticed by the German lifestyle magazine WHUDAT. Circle of Light was named the best lighting product in 2016.

Mudu can be visited – and bought! – in Skandinaviški interjerai shop on Savanorių pr. 166, Kaunas. The mirrors have already been shipped to USA, Italy, Denmark and Germany. Where to next?!
