Funicular has been serving Žaliakalnis since 1931 and Aleksotas since 1935. The first one will take you from V. Putvinskio street, the axis of culture and diplomacy, to the modernist Kaunas Christ’s Resurrection Basilica. After crossing Nemunas, the funicular will help you reach the Aleksotas viewpoint.
