Dance music fans, mark your calendars for March 8, when legendary British DJ John Digweed returns to Kaunas for an epic night out.
On March 20, the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum unveils the international exhibition From Amber to Stars: M.K. Čiurlionis, His Contemporaries, and Kindred Spirits, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Lithuania’s most renowned artist.

Sports enthusiasts, take note: March 24 marks the start of the season at Darius and Girėnas Stadium with a World Cup qualifying match between Lithuania and Finland.
If you’re visiting for an extended period between March 7 and 23, be sure to check out the repertoire at Romuva Cinema. This is when Lithuania’s biggest film festival, Kino Pavasaris, takes place. Oh, and by the way, Romuva is Lithuania’s oldest cinema, having opened in 1940.
Spring in Lithuania wouldn’t be complete without the Kaunas Jazz Festival, a beloved tradition running strong for over three decades. Look forward to concerts in major venues and outdoor spaces alike.
On April 23, Rod Stewart takes the stage at Žalgirio Arena.
From April 13–19, the Kaunas Ice Palace hosts the U18 World Championship IB Division, with teams from Lithuania, Japan, Estonia, France, South Korea, and Poland competing.

The Pažaislis Music Festival begins its 30th season on May 31, offering a summer-long cultural feast in stunning venues like the Pažaislis Monastery.
The outdoor concert season at Darius and Girėnas Stadium starts with none other than Justin Timberlake on June 6. Couldn’t get tickets? Don’t worry—Kylie Minogue takes over Žalgirio Arena on June 20.

From June 16–19, the stadium hosts international athletics competitions.
July honors Lithuania’s only king, Mindaugas, with the Statehood Day Festival at Kaunas Castle, featuring the much-loved Operetta at Kaunas Castle.
On July 10, California rock legends Guns N’ Roses perform at Darius and Girėnas Stadium.
The month also commemorates the 1933 transatlantic flight of Lituanica with the Aviation Festival at the historic S. Darius and S. Girėnas Aerodrome in Aleksotas.
Sports fans, don’t miss the U15 and U19 European Pentathlon Championships from July 27–August 3, organized by Lithuania’s Modern Pentathlon Federation.
