Kaunas Jazz: Gregory Porter and Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra
“Žalgiris” arena, Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. 50

Gregory Porter, a singer who became a worldwide sensation a decade ago, is one of the most striking music phenomena of today. His voice shines over the jazz scene as well as the pop music scene. The Kaunas Jazz festival occupies a special place in the heart of the singer; Porter, who visited the festival for the first time in 2013, immediately won the public sympathy prize – he also loved the atmosphere of this event and since then has always enjoyed invitations to return to Lithuania.

“Gregory Porter is very demanding of the local musicians with whom he performs, so his agreement to hold a joint concert can already be called the victory of the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra,” say the organizers of Kaunas Jazz.
