Along with many other exciting connections, Ryanair have announced earlier this week that the airline would connect Kaunas and West Ukraine’s biggest city, Lviv, later this year.
What we know so far is that the Kaunas and Lviv connection will start on July 2, 2021. Flights are planned to be held on Mondays and Fridays, which makes the route perfect for weekend getaways – if the global pandemic situation permits. Both Kaunas and Lviv – sister cities since 2012 – are great cities for weekend trips!
Besides, it’s the first time ever to operate flights to Ukraine from Kaunas Airport. For now, the countries have only been connected via Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
