Zouk, a style of music and dance originating in the Caribbean, is trending in Lithuania just as it is around the world. A lovely dancer couple from Kaunas, Diana Vonžodaitė and Rytis Druskinis, have certainly added some heat to the trend! In less than a month, their zouk dance video capturing the couple’s journey around Lithuania, got half a million views on Facebook.
Diana and Rytis stopped in Vilnius, Klaipėda and other cities during their journey - of course, quite a few locations are in Kaunas! In the video below, you can see them dancing at the Mykolas Žilinskas Art Gallery, Simonas Daukantas Bridge, Christ’s Resurrection Church etc. See for yourselves - and find those dancing shoes!
You can follow Diana and Rytis on Facebook - the dancers often hold zouk, bachata and kizomba classes, so join them if you’re in town!
