AB Ortopedijos technika began operations in 1945 and is now the leading manufacturer of orthopaedic equipment in the Baltic States.
The company manufactures and customises modern orthopaedic equipment: prostheses for hands and feet, splints, orthopaedic footwear and insoles.
In addition to conventional limb prostheses, patients can also choose from a new generation of state-of-the-art hand and foot prostheses. Myoelectric hand prostheses, which are controlled by muscle tension, are capable of doing up to 50% of regular manual activities. The vacuum-assisted Harmony® prosthetic limb provides a better sense of security as well as pleasant and effortless mobility. The prosthetic leg with microprocessor-controlled C-leg knee joint allows unrestricted movement (climbing stairs, cycling) with significantly less energy. The microprocessor hydraulically controls the function of the knee based on sensor data and automatically adapts to any human movement.
Orthopaedic splints, made of carbon fibre and manufactured using modern pre-preg technology, are characterised by their exceptional functionality, strength and lightness.
AB Ortopedijos technika has started using recycled materials in the production of individual orthopaedic footwear since 2022.
There are ten specialised orthopaedic stores Sveikatinė throughout Lithuania, selling AB Ortopedijos technika and certified products from other well-known manufacturers: Splints for sports and rehabilitation, shoe inserts, orthopaedic sandals, comfortable footwear, products for expectant mothers, prophylactic and medical compression stockings, orthopaedic mattresses and pillows, massage and exercise equipment, mobility aids such as walking sticks, crutches, walkers etc.
