SCIENCE ISLAND is the first center for popularizing science and innovation in Lithuania. A permanent exhibition combining 140 interactive objects, a modern planetarium, STEAM laboratories, conference rooms, and various cultural and educational activities await visitors here. Recently, the building, located on the coast of Nemunas in Kaunas, has attracted passers-by with its unique architecture, the main highlight of which is its 27m diameter, shining disk supported on just one beam. SCIENCE ISLAND has a striking combination of real science and entertainment, disproving the myth that fun does not equal value.
