The key idea behind Lithuanian Pub Entry is to revive and foster the traditions of Interwar Lithuania – the truly golden age of Kaunas – by offering its dwellers and guests the menu inspired by world’s best cuisines. Art deco details prevailing in the interior date back to the characteristic architecture of Interwar Kaunas, which has remained the crown jewel of the city to date. The word pub retains its original meaning in our title. This is a public house – an open house, a public place, a spot for social gatherings. This is exactly what Lithuanian Pub Entry is – an open and cosy place to spend your time in, socialize, meet other people or enjoy your time solo. Our goal is to make this pub a community, a society of friends and acquaintances who prefer face-to-face interaction to digital social networks, feel the urge for a sincere conversation and eye contact, a buzzing spot that sparks the spirit of thriving Kaunas. SPECIAL MENU OF INTERWAR LITHUANIA Discover a precious moment from the history of interwar Kaunas; a moment you can feel, smell and taste. City dwellers and restaurant goers of those days were enjoying a variety of meals from Lithuanian fish: bouillons, soups, steaks, cutlets, pies, pastes from perch, pike, salmon, vendace, eel, trout or herring.
