In 1928 technician Ignas Gastila designed a double-decker, four-apartment house with a balcony. The house belonged to Jonas Dereškevičius - the principal of Žaliakalnis primary school - he also settled here. The corner part of the house is surrounded by a wide balcony with a roof. Authentic stairs, narrow white-painted ceiling boards has survived through the period. This expressive architecture can be seen as an example of an appartment-rental house at that time.
