We did it, guys… The family of Žalgiris fans has fans proven that there is no match for the green-and-white army, as they soared to the top of the attendance charts, becoming the highest-attended team in EuroLeague history.
Žalgiris averaged 14,737 fans each night throughout the 15 regular season home games, completely selling out Žalgirio Arena in 10 contests.
The former record belonged to Crvena Zvezda, who set a 14,496 average mark during the 2014-2015 season. Fenerbahce comes in third, with an average attendance of 13,925 fans in the 2010-2011 EuroLeague season.
Žalgiris also takes the next three spots with averages of 13,560 in 2017-2018, 13,338 in 2012-2013 and 13,106 in 2011-2012.
Our team still has a couple of games to play abroad in the remaining regular season. While we’re looking forward to the playoff news, you’re welcome to attend the Žalgiris home games in the Lithuanian league (LKL). The closest one’s on Sunday, March 31.
You can do your green-and-white shopping online at zalgirisshop.lt or on your way to the arena. One shop is on S. Daukanto street, you’ll find another in Akropolis mall, and the third one will be waiting for you inside the arena. You can buy the tickets online, too! See you.
