The author behind the idea of memorial stones (stolpersteine) is a German artist who has already laid over 50 thousand Holocaust remembrance symbols throughout Europe. In Kaunas, they mark the place where the first Lithuanian Olympian Isakas Anolikas used to train, the house and studio of painters Cerne Percikoviciute and Jakovas Lipšicasand the house of doctor Vladimiras Lazersonas and his wife, Regina.
